On tooling enquiry receipt, GlobalTool selects manufacturer(s) and issues RFQ in English or local language.

Quotation approval is followed by the issue of purchase and sales contracts, identifying design and manufacturing specifications, materials, heat treatment lead time, tool life and cost parameters.

Tool design is undertaken by GlobalTool or tool manufacturer.

General Assembly, Bill of Materials including standard parts, Detailed Drawings are presented for client approval.

GlobalTool may recommend feasible revisions or modifications to reduce costs, increase life or total tool efficiency.

 

GlobalTool maintains regular contact with manufacturers and clients by e-mailed Microsoft Project reports and digital photographs.

Completed tools are sampled locally with client supplied raw material whenever possible and always under GlobalTool control. Clients representatives usually attend the sampling process and are provided with finished parts, supported by a completed Tool Check Report. Additional samples and / or pre production parts can be subsequently produced and despatched to client.

 

 

GlobalTool  is vendor and principal, with responsibility for design, manufacturing and ultimate shipment of finished tools worldwide. Tool ownership is passed to clients after delivery and 100% payment receipt. Invoices can be issued in any transferable currency, protecting clients against foreign exchange risk on fixed contracts.

Subject to client wishes, GlobalPart Division will manage local component production as a normal supply project, utilizing client tools remaining in the source market or being transferred elsewhere."

Tool security, maintenance and audit are a GlobalPart responsibility if local component supply contracts are established.
